MailNode Acceptable Use Policy

MailNode is designed for reliable, everyday email communication.
To protect service quality and inbox delivery for all customers, the following rules apply to all accounts.

1. Permitted Use

MailNode may be used for:
  • Personal and business email communication
  • Customer support correspondence
  • Operational notifications
  • General day-to-day messaging
Our service is intended for legitimate, human communication - not bulk distribution systems.

2. Sending Limits

Each email address is limited to 400 outbound emails per hour Creating additional mailboxes, aliases, or domains to bypass this limit is prohibited. If your use case requires higher sending volumes, you should use a dedicated email delivery platform.

3. Marketing & Bulk Email

MailNode does not allow:
  • Mass marketing campaigns
  • Promotional email blasts
  • Cold outreach
  • Purchased or scraped mailing lists
  • Email “warm-up” services
  • High-volume transactional email systems
If you need to send marketing or bulk email, we recommend using services specifically built for that purpose . Our infrastructure is optimized for reliable inbox delivery — not campaign distribution.

4. Spam & Abuse

You may not use MailNode to:
  • Send unsolicited bulk email
  • Engage in phishing or fraud
  • Distribute malware or harmful content
  • Spoof domains you do not own
  • Harass or threaten others
  • Violate any applicable laws
Any activity that damages IP reputation or affects deliverability for other customers is strictly prohibited.

5. Domain & DNS Requirements

You may only add domains that:
  • You own or manage
  • Are not associated with spam or abuse
Sending domains must have valid DNS configuration, including:
  • MX records
  • SPF records
DKIM is strongly recommended. Improper configuration that affects deliverability may result in restrictions.

6. Catch-All Usage

Catch-all addresses are permitted. However, using catch-all functionality to:
  • Mass-register accounts on third-party services
  • Create large volumes of disposable aliases
  • Circumvent sending limits
is not allowed .

7. Fair Use

MailNode includes unlimited mailboxes and domains within fair use . “Unlimited” does not permit:
  • Automation networks
  • Infrastructure resale
  • Excessive resource consumption
  • Abuse-related activity
We reserve the right to apply reasonable limits where necessary to maintain system stability.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for:
  • Using strong, unique passwords
  • Securing your mailbox credentials
  • Not reusing passwords across services
If an account is compromised and used for spam or abuse, it may be suspended immediately to protect the platform .

9. Enforcement

If we detect or receive reports of violations, we may:
  • Restrict outbound sending
  • Suspend specific domains or mailboxes
  • Temporarily suspend your account
  • Permanently terminate service
We are not required to provide advance warning in cases of spam, fraud, or abuse. Accounts terminated for policy violations are not eligible for refunds.

10. Our Approach

MailNode was built to provide simple, affordable, dependable email hosting . Our hosting provider deliberately prioritise:
  • Inbox delivery
  • Platform stability

If your needs involve high-volume marketing or bulk delivery systems, MailNode is not the right fit.
